Organizers for Craftsman Socket Sets
Most sets with sockets are actually mechanic's tool sets which include ratchets, extensions, wrenches, etc.
There are a few large sets that only include sockets. The most popular is the Craftsman 299-pc set, but there are currently two different version of this set. One version is made for Sears, and a different version is made for all the other Craftsman dealers.

* Description of Versions for the 299-pc SetVersion 4 is model number CMMT45310. Only this version includes hex, torx, and screwdriver bit sockets. Version 3 has item number 9-04632 printed on the box. The 1/2-drive deep sockets of version 3 are 3.0 inches long. Version 2 has item number 9-35299 printed on the box. The 1/2-drive deep sockets are 3.25 inches long. Version 1 is the oldest version and had "USA" stamped on all the sockets. |
