Drawers Used

This configuration uses 12 drawers to fit all the tools. The drawer inserts cover 6,000 square inches total. There are 2 empty narrow drawers on the left, 3 empty narrow drawers on the right, and 1 empty medium drawer in the center.

The full-width drawer contains most of the sockets including the impact sockets. This drawer has double drawer slides on each side giving it a higher weight capacity. Three ratchets are included in the full-width drawer. The other ratchets and most of the drive accessories are one drawer below the sockets.

The combination wrenches are placed flat in the foam, making it easier to read their sizes. The ratcheting wrenches are fit into four narrow drawers by placing them on edge. This allows the SAE wrenches to fill one row of 3 drawers, with 3 drawers of metric wrenches lined up in the same way.

Tool Set Notes

The Husky 1025-pc set has had some minor changes in the past, but model H1025MTSPORM was a major update we are calling version 2. We've updated every layout except the ratcheting wrenches. When looking at the tools, the most obvious change is the addition of a breaker bar with an extendable handle.

Toolbox Notes

The Husky 72-inch boxes are confusting because there are many different models. The organizers above are sized to fit the 72-inch, heavy-duty box with 18 drawers and a height-adjustable top. Model numbers include HOLC7218BB1MYS (black), HOLC7218BL1M (blue), and HOLC7218BT1M (white).

Husky makes 15-drawer and 22-drawer versions that use different drawers sizes. There are also versions without the height adjustable top, versions with a side cabinet, standard-duty versions, and professional-duty versions. We believe all of these use different drawer sizes.
